Here at Birdland, we continue to employ techniques and materials to assist the local environment, while providing suitable habitation for our animals and a park friendly to our guests and visitors.

These techniques include:

  • Recycling of rubbish,
  • Minimisation of water consumption,
  • Reduction of chemicals and synthetic fertilisers,
  • Reuse of animal and vegetable waste,
  • Mulching,
  • Drought resistant gardens and lawns,
  • Preservation of local water courses,
  • Best practise waste diposal.
Birdland continues to implement techniques to preserve the environment, while bringing you “nature at your fingertips”.
