MEET THE ANIMALS

 

"Arthur" the deer. Thinks he's a kangaroo. He was orphaned and hand reared at the park along side an orphan kangaroo and now feels at home with other roos.

 

"Meggsy" the Southern hairy nosed wombat. His species is found in South Australia. He is a prolific digger and is fond of biting ankles.

"Cleo" the black cockatoo. Is as old as birdland istself. In 1971, forestry workers presented her to the park when she was just tiny ball of feathers. Used to live close to the kiosk but due to her foul tongue it was necessary to move her to the middle of the park.
