Wombats at Birdland Animal Park Batemans Bay

WOMBAT CORNER

"Dave" at 4 months. Loves his bottle and is starting to grow hair. Mega cute.

"Guus" at 8 months: eating grass but still loves his bottle and a cuddle from his mum.

"Winnifred" a young common wombat. Who was reared at Young in central NSW and has recently arrvived. She is our youngest wombat and, as you can see, is settling in well. When she is grown up she will be returned to wild.

"Boom Boom " a young common wombat was also reared at Young. He is dark brown in colour and loves grazing on fresh grass and spending time in the hallow log as it saves him having to dig a hole.

"Digger" another young common was also reared at Young. He has a beautiful long grey coat and loves a cuddle as long as you bend from the knees when you lift him.
